La Maddalena

Located on the North East cost of the main island Sardinia, is the only inhabitated Island and this one measure 20,1 Km2.
The highest point of the island is Guardia Vecchia, the hill measure 146 meters from the level of the sea.
The Island is mostly formed by granite rocks. The inside of the Island is characterized by a lot of hills, the coasts are jagged and rocky, and that’s why we can found a lot of small beaches all around the island. There are:

Cala dello Spalmatore: Located on the North of the Naval Museum, mostly made by Granite rocks.

Cala di Abbatoggia: Located on the north of the island made by Granite cliffs and very small beaches, this side of the island still have an uncontaminated environment. 

Cala di Giardinelli: Located on the east cost (rental coast) in front of Caprera island, this one is also rich of Granite rocks. 

Baia Trinita: Located on the north west of the island his famous beach is called Bassa Trinita.

The land is not suitable for farming because is rich of woods. 
The island is, characterized by a lot of different animals, and the most famous is the Seagull Corso, but also on the sea there are many species. 

Spargi island

Is one of the island that belongs to the National Park of arcipelago of La Maddalena with a surface of 4,2 km is the third largest one. Its coasts are 11 Km and the most highest point Guardia Preposti measure 153 m from the level of the sea.

This one also is on Granite Rocks, we can found a lot of vegetation and also many different species of birds.

Budelli island

Is located on the south of the two islands Razzoli and Santa Maria, divided by a channel Chiecca di Morto. 
Its surface measure 1,6 Km2 and her coasts are 12,3 km.

The hill (Monte Budello) is the highest point of the island with 88 meters.

Santa Maria island

The surface is 2 km2 and the perimeter measure 10 km.

The elevation profile is the lowest, and the highest point is Guardia del Turco, who reach 49 meters. 
It is separated on the east side from the nearest island Razzoli by a little channel called Passo degli asinelli, and on the north from La Presa Island by another one called Passo dello Strangolato, for that reason sometimes is considered part of Santa Maria Island, this is the northernmost point of the Sardinia. 

The most beautifull beaches are Cala Santa Maria and Cala di Fosso.

Caprera island

The most highest point is the hill Monte Telaione with his 212 meters.

The surface of the island measure 15,7 km2 and is the second island after la Maddalena Island, they are connected by one bridge, built on 1891 and renovated on 1958.
Rich in woods,mainly are pine forests, along its coast we found a lot of small beaches but also overhangs on the sea. 

The weather has a spectacular colors thanks to the strong currents who cleans the water, and also for the light color of the sand, who enhance its shades.
